Happy Bus Times

The Happy Bus needs to run later on the weekends. It stops at like 2:00 in the morning and thats just not late enough. The bar just closes, I need time to gather my friends, get Sheetz, and make it to the stop and 2'oclock is just too early. Also Last weekend my friend said he would ride me home from the Heights when he left. But he informed me at 2 that he was already gone without me and i was stranded because the bus had already stopped. These are just a few reasons that the bus needs to run until at least 3:00.

Parking

There needs to be more commuter parking at SRU. There needs to be more in general, but especially towards upper campus. The the lots in front of BSB and behind it are the only parking up there for about 8 buildings. It is ridiculous. If you have a class after 8 or or before 3 the chances of showing up and getting a spot are very small. If you want a spot then you need to show up about 20 minutes early to class and play the waiting game. And sometimes that still won't get you a spot. It is highly frustrating.

Intramural Hockey

I play on an intramural hockey team here at Slippery Rock. We just had our third game tonight and were victorious. The score was 7-3. Our team now has a record of 3 wins and 0 losses. With this victory tonight we have guaranteed ourselves a playoff spot. The people that run the intramural hockey league are not so good at their job. The rules say there can only be 2 members from the club inline/ice hockey team on any one of the intramural teams. However, there are multiple teams with more than two club players. This is so annoying. Why make rules if they aren't enforced? It is unfair to the rest of us that actually follow the rules.

Weather

Slippery Rock might have some of the craziest weather ever. Last week it was about 90 degrees and sunny. The next day there was rain and wind that was practically a hurricane. The following day was filled with snow and sub 30 degree temperatures. And sure enough today was back to 65 and sunny. I don't understand it. All that I know is that this constant weather changing is making me sick and I do not care for it.

Scheduling

Scheduling at Slippery Rock University is absolutely terrible. There are not enough class spots. And how do they pick the order of scheduling. I thought it was by the number of credits you had, but apparently not. There are freshman and sophomores scheduling before me. They don't play sports so why? If I don't get written into an class I'm going to have to stay an extra semester. I don't know who is in charge of this, but they should be replaced.
